In October 2024, TTM began with a question:
How can Web3, blockchain and new digital technologies be used to create real value for tourism?
Not blockchain because blockchain is possible.
Not technology because it is new.
But technology where it simplifies processes, enables new services and brings companies closer to their customers.
The first answer: the Travel Token Marketplace.
The idea was to bring digital added value and services together in one place and make them easy for tourism to use.
That is how the Travel Token Marketplace was created.
Excursions, transfers, upgrades, vouchers and other additional services could be provided digitally, connected with one another and made directly available to customers.
But the first applications quickly made one thing clear:
There was more.
One idea opened up more and more possibilities.
The Marketplace led to further solutions.
Tokens made services, information and added value digitally available. Intelligent functions were added. Wallet Cards bundled services. Payment connected transactions and processes. A shared technical infrastructure created the foundation for ever more applications.
Step by step, TTM evolved.
From Marketplace to platform.
From individual applications to connected customer journeys.
Tourism was the beginning.
Today, TTM is much more than the original idea from 2024.
What was developed for the complex requirements of tourism can be used wherever companies want to digitally connect people, services, information, added value and existing systems.
